Arrived in Bangalore

We arrived happy and thouroughly exhausted. The ride was smooth and no significant delays. We experienced a potentially worrisome bump in the road at the frankfort airport. Wont go into the details now. It is a story that needs to be told in person. The team just wants everyone to know we were touched by a powerful answer to prayer. As a result of our circumstances, we received an amazing series of miracles. It was a reminder to all of us just how much prayer is needed. There is no burden so heavy that God can not handle. There is no moment in life when his touch is not necessary.

We enjoyed a happy reunion with Paul, Jaya, Viju and Johnny in the wee hours of the morning. Elena began receiving alarming text messages at 5 AM from her children asking her to call home asap. Knowing that they were going to receive bad news, the team immediately began praying. Sal called his son, Chris,  who informed him that his brother, Vinnie, unexpectedly passed away Thursday morning. Once again, we experienced the desperate need to pray for God's help. We sent out the need for prayer to Lake Country Bible Church and others and we know the faithful immediately sprung into action. God has granted great peace and comfort to Sal and Elena over this sad news.

In just the first 24 hours of this trip, we have seen the kindness of God through the priveldge of prayer. It truly is a priveldge to pray to a God who does not need our help. And yet, he has granted us a partnership in managing the affairs of life through prayer.

  3. We are praying for all of you and for those who will be attending the conferences and those who will be coming for medical treatment. Please know that you are being bathed in prayer and that HE will be with you all, in all circumstances. May God Bless you all in what you are doing. Our prayers also go out to Pastor Sal and his family for peace and comfort.
